The National Team consists of up to 10 members in each class who are highly ranked and/or agree to promote high standards of excellence in Trail Orienteering. This year's team includes ten members who have previously represented the U.S. at the World Championships. Congratulations to all those named.

The World Trail Orienteering Championships will be held this year from August 22-27 in Sweden. The team to represent the USA at WTOC 2016 was selected based on updated rankings which reflect the 2016 rules changes. The top three ranked from each class who are interested in attending are selected.
This year's team is made up almost entirely of repeat participants, with the exception of new Paralympic Team member Daniel Heimgartner. We wish him great success at his first WTOC.
